Leadership Development Workshops

The three core capabilities that all effective leaders need are:

  1. Self-management capabilities - e.g., self-awareness, balancing conflicting demands and leadership values.
  2. Social capabilities - e.g., ability to build and maintain relationships, building effective work groups or teams, ability to develop others.
  3. Work facilitation capabilities - e.g., management skills, ability to think/act strategically and creatively, and ability to initiate change.

A series of six unique workshops introduce the most relevant knowledge to support senior executives in becoming outstanding leaders developing each of the above mentioned capabilities.

This workshop is aimed at helping the executives get a better understanding of their own leadership styles and benchmark effective leader behaviors by focusing on:

  • Creating self-awareness by engaging in targeted activities as well as taking assessments.
  • Introducing key characteristics and behaviors of effective leaders

This workshop helps individuals take a deeper dive into understanding individual’s self-leadership style and potentially effective leader behaviors by:

  • Conducting a focused 360 o feedback for the executives.
  • Familiarizing the executives with situational leader behaviors, providing them with a leadership toolbox that they can draw from based on a situation.

Leadership and emotion are inter-related, specifically when it comes to building strong relationships with subordinates or key stakeholders. This workshop is aimed at helping executives develop some of these emotional capabilities by:

  • Creating greater self-­‐awareness about individual tendencies and abilities.
  • Introducing key strategies to allow individuals to leverage their emotions to be more effective.

This workshop aims at developing effective decision making capabilities in the executives by:

  • Introducing the executives to the potential biases that can lead to ineffective decisions.
  • Share effective decision-making strategies.

This skill is an essential leadership component that is not highly developed in majority of executives since most individuals avoid conflict. Some amount of conflict is considered healthy in organizations since it brings in unique ideas. This workshop aims at building effective conflict management skills in senior executives by:

  • Creating a comfort with disagreement by creating the distinction between task and relationship conflict.
  • Introduce conflict management skills within the group that will allow them to be more effective in managing conflict for self and others.

Team management and leadership are key drivers of success since effective teams can have an exponential impact on organizational performance. This workshop focuses on:

  • Helping the executives develop team-building skills.
  • Introduce strategies that will allow senior executives to build high performance teams.

This workshop is aimed at helping the executives get a better understanding of their own leadership styles and benchmark effective leader behaviors by focusing on:

Ongoing Leadership Coaching
